Rebeca Nonaka is the Rebeca Physio Clinic‘s expert physiotherapist with advanced knowledge and techniques that she uses to provide high quality services to her clients in London and the surrounding areas. Her clinic caters for all age groups, from babies to adults. She uses a variety of techniques and therapies to treat and rehabilitate patients who have physical ailments brought on by disabilities, injuries or sickness. After Rebeca has assessed a patient, we then discuss with them an appropriate course of action. We can make home visits for clients who are currently housebound. Appointments can be conducted in English, Spanish or Portuguese.
Physiotherapy is the use of exercise and physical movement to rehabilitate and strengthen clients with injuries or disabilities. Techniques vary depending on the part of the body that is being treated. Physiotherapy is a physical approach applied to promote, maintain and restore physical, psychological and social well-being.
Cranio-Sacral Therapy involves soft touches to the client‘s body, both for diagnosis and for treatment. These gentle touches can be centred on the cranium (the head), the sacrum (the tail-bone) as well as other parts of the body. The free movement of body tissues and fluids are monitored by this gentle contact.
Acupuncture stimulates the sensory nerves located beneath the skin as well as the body‘s muscles. To do this, fine needles are pushed into the body at specific locations. The Chinese have long done this for both preventative and therapeutic reasons. The procedure prompts the body to produce pain-relieving endorphins and other substances.
To make sure we are able to help you with a number of various health concerns, we are experienced in a number of physiotherapy techniques, including:
